Korfball

This is the official website of the korfball club working under the Bushi ShinDo Sport Club. This site is meant to help you discover korfball and be informed about the newest events in the korfball community. If you are member you will find our training schedule, and information about competitions etc. If you wish to become a member you can contact us and we will be happy to reply as soon as we can. But let's start by introducing ourselves:

Who are we?

We are young korfball players with coaching certificates, who whish to promote korfball in Romania.

What do we do?

We wish to establish a korfball team in Targu Mures and participate in several forreign and domestic competitions.

What is korfball?

Who can participate?

Basically anyone who wishes to learn this new kind of sport and discover a whole new way of seeing mixed sports.

Why korfball?

By this time you might be asking yourself the question: "Why should I start to learn korfball?" Well, our answer would be that this sport is worth trying out because it offers a good opportunity to play a team sport that is also a non contact sport and can be played by all age groups. It is a good social activity, taking into consideration that men and women play together. It is easy to play and does not involve you needing to have some special abilities to be able to practice this sport.

We are a new club and thus for the time being we are trying to get new members in our club. If you wish to join please don't hesitate to contact us. Soon we will have training facilities and everything will be set so we can start our training program and our preparation for tournaments to come.
